When it gets super cold here during the winter months Berk often doesn’t get his nightly walk so we have to come up with other ways to mentally challenge him and give him something constructive to do. One game we play is a modified version of a game used to teach search and rescue techniques to dogs. We use a regular muffin tin with a variety of balls we have around the house and we place a treat or two under certain balls and then Berk has to find the ball that has the treat under it. He loves this game and gets SO excited when we pull out the muffin tin!
J recently started a new job and it has been a tough transition on Berkely. Justin had been working from home fulltime since we brought Berk home and now that J is gone all day everyday Berk has really missed him. It warms my heart to see my two boys together again smiling!! (a special thanks to grams and gramps for all you have done to help make the transition easier on all of us…we love you)!
