I always believe that you should do something special on leap day! We are given an extra day and why not make it memorable. That said, I figured why not dip my toe back into the blogging waters and say hello to all of you!
It has been too long since I have posted and I have missed the site and all of you. Quick update on me and my family….T is officially 8 months old and is on the move! I don’t know where the time has gone! I can honestly say that during the last 2 months we have had more fun with T than we have since she was born. You moms out there know what I am talking about…not much ROI the first few months….(Rookiemoms hit the nail on the head with this article). But T is all smiles now and screeches when we come in the room and I swear my heart stops when she giggles 🙂
I am still working on finding my balance as a working mom and there are days I feel like I do it better than others but I think that balance will probably always be my biggest challenge. Never enough hours in the day…ugh.
Berkley is doing great as well. He will be 3 years old in May and we are hoping that with this milestone some of his separation anxiety issues calm down but somehow I don’t think that will happen! Oh we love him for who he is…vomiting and all J
Finally, I want to say thank you to all of you who took the time to fill out the survey I posted a few months back. Your sweet comments meant a lot to me and I have taken into consideration your feedback. As many of you know becoming a mom changes the lens in which we see the world and I definitely see that reflected in my life and am hopeful that it will be reflected in the blog as well. I feel even more now than ever that I struggle with how much of my personal life to share on the site and not wanting the site to just be a laundry list of things. So please bear with me while I work through some of those issues (and of course welcome any of your thoughts on this balance)!!
SOOOOO of course I have to ask….how are all of you celebrating leap day today???
