A friend of mine, Kimberly and her husband Dave have entered the Mutt Lynch Winery wine label contest with a beautiful painting in honor of their Rhodesian Ridgeback “Buster” who passed away suddenly on March 21st due to an enlarged heart. Below Kimberly shares few thoughts on Buster. If their label is selected as the winner they are going to auction the original painting and donate the proceeds to a charity that benefits our four-legged “best friends.”

“Buster’s enlarged heart was the inspiration for Dave’s painting; Buster was a gentle and wise soul who lived and died with one of the biggest hearts we’ve ever loved. We are sooo grateful for the nearly 13 years we got to call him our Baby Blake, and will forever cherish the lessons we learned from him and the memories we created together.
Buster could be very “naughty” while growing up, especially during the “separation anxiety days” (try 18 months!)…He was so naughty that he would have tagged the walls of our house if he could have, just as “he” did in this painting. He wasn’t an angel then, but most certainly is now.”
